Swing Sets...

My big kid got a big kid swing set this weekend.  He is loving it and Mom is having a heart attack.  Our yard is super uneven and so Aaron and his dad jacked the swing set up 2 feet on one end to make it level which makes the slide good and steep.  Cadence is having a blast with it.  He goes down the slide and into the neighbors yard.  Meanwhile I am supposed to be keeping him quiet as he just had his stitches out yesterday.  If it reopens they can't re-stitch.  Aah the joys of parenting a 2 yr old, over active boy.  I'm glad he's having fun though and that I don't have to cart him to the park all the time now.

Chai is growing like crazy.  He had an appointment on Friday and was up to 9lbs 9oz (he left the hospital at 8.4) and is 22 1/4 inches long.  Apparently growth will not be a problem with him.  We are trying to get him to fall asleep on his own now as he has been held continuously by all of our company.  Oh well.

Life is good with 2 though very crazy.  I am a sleepy girl.

Hospitals...

So Aaron and I are thinking of changing our address to the York Hospital...  Cadence was in the ER just a couple of weeks ago for a staple and then I went up to maternity and was sent home for a total time of 7 hrs.  Last Thursday we brought our new bundle of joy into the world for a total of 3 days.  Last night (Tuesday) we went back to the ER for a total of 4 hrs.  We are personally funding all renovation projects to our hospital.

Cadence was going with his Daddy to check the mail and trying to catch his cat at the same time.  He stumbled down the last 2 steps.  No big deal except he wears glasses.  When he fell his glasses shoved into his face and split his eyebrow wide open.  He has 7 stitches over his left eye.  There is an almost perfect impression of his glasses all the way around his eye.  My poor little boy.  He was so brave.  Mommy feels like the worst mom in the whole wide world.  And now what; do I replace his glasses cause of course he needs to see but they seem dangerous?!?!  Almost all of his facial injuries are caused by his glasses.  Though this time they seem to have protected his eye.  AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  He is such a trooper.

In other news Ky is doing great and mom is healing well.  We are enjoying having Aaron home for the week.  Wish he could be home more.Zechaiah Newborn Pix 016

The arrival of Baby #2

Zechaiah Newborn 130

Zechaiah Newborn 124

Zechaiah Newborn 103

Zechaiah Oliver Aaron Julian made his way into this world rather quickly on June 12, 2008 at11 am.  He weighed a rather large 8lbs 14.5 oz and is 20 1/2 inches long.  He is absolutely beautiful and looks a lot like his big brother Cadence.

Cadence is not totally sure what to think of him.  He is fascinated and jealous all at the same time.  He is very upset that mommy and daddy are  not home but having a lot of fun with his uncles and his Nonnie.  We will be going home tomorrow and are looking forward to it.

Mommy is tired and rather sore but loving having my baby out and here.  Hoping to get life underwa again soon and looking forward to being pampered by people in the meantime.

Staple Removal

Cadence had his staple removed today.  He didn't even know the doctor had finished so life is good.  Hopefully we won't be revisiting the ER for a very long time.

I am still pregnant.  The baby is very quiet today and for the fist time in like 6 weeks I am not having contractions.  I am hoping that these are good signs that baby is on its way.  I have an appointment tomorrow and am hoping to not make it to it or to be sent to the hospital after it. Well, we'll see.

He just never runs out of energy!!

Cade is getting huge by the way... he is as big as most of the 4 yr. olds we know.  He is legally tall enough to be in a big kid booster seat now being 39" tall and weighing almost 35 lbs.  I can't believe how fast he grows.
